They rejected it not based on acceptance. They rejected it because 10 wealthy investors would have got the licenses to build dispensaries and such. And people did not feel it was fair to have a monopoly start..... So bad move on the people attempting to make it legal. Many people who support marijuana legalization came out saying they voted no solely because they didn't think it was right that a few people would be running the mj industry
