Daily trading volume of a companies stock has nothing to do with determining if a company is out of business. It merely reveals current interest in the stock. However, the low pps does make it hard for a company to raise capital. MRIB needs investors, but investors will be reluctant without confirmation that the company is achieving previously announced business plan goals. The lack of communication from the CEO to the investing public, and current shareholders, certainly has not helped the situation.
