My take on IR firms. Almost all of them are horrible. Please someone tell me why this one wil be different? From experience they wine and dine a company to get a contract, usually paid in unrestricted shares since companies have no cash. Most of these OTCBB companies then hire IR firms thinking they have connections. In reality they don't but they are good salesman to get these IR deals from small companies who think they can't do in house IR which always ends up being better.

I have had a lot of experience with OTC Communications in Massachusetts and Equiti Link in La Jolla. Do a Google search on them and where stocks ended up after they represented them. What has happened is they get paid in unrestricted shares which they dump into the market to get paid. Sometimes a stock may have a small spike but in the end the share price drops. I have seen it over and over and the IR firm is adding to the dilution. They have too many clients, aren't connected and really don't help share price. In the end the OTCBB company realizes they made a mistake and dumps them. If an OTCBB, pays them in cash, forget what I wrote. Most however pay in shares. This is just my opinion from 10 years of penny trading experience.
