Float doesn't matter because while it takes less volume to push the share price up it takes less volume to drive it down. The price has retraced and held the 50 so far and that has nothing to do with a smaller float. A smaller float should be more volatile not less. Earnings do not matter to anyone because the companies do not retain them.
