Re: They do sell both. On the consumer side, every model lets you choose Intel or AMD. It looks as if the commercial side will be the same soon.
This is all fine. It gives consumers and businesses the free choice to choose the best performance/$ and best performance/watt, which is what people have been asking for years.
Now that it's available, let the consumer choose the brand and product they prefer. Just don't be disappointed when AMD doesn't get propelled to 50% market share, simply because their choice was made available. The business just doesn't work that way, CJ.
In fact, don't be disappointed if AMD even loses market share this year, in spite of being made a broader choice. You can't expect people to choose the inferior product, just because you expect them to hate the big guy.
