Excellent observations about the corrupt monopolies and kickback dynamics behind part of medical practice.

I wouldn’t go that far, although I’m somewhat concerned about the non-disclosure of the arrangement (assuming I’m right about it). It may be that the contract between Partners Healthcare and the MD practice forbids the MD practice from voluntarily disclosing the nature of the relationship to patients.

Next time I’m at the doctor, I plan to ask directly if my supposition about the arrangement with Partners is correct.
