While the FDA only requires a warning label statement on dietary supplements with added iron, several states like CA and NY have additional requirements. If you're going with national distribution it's easiest to use the strictest warning label standard so you don't have different bottles for each state...

It's also likely required by whoever is supplying product liability insurance...
