have any idea how much san diego comic con costs....yea, its a lot. gsl sells to advertisers, and gsl itself is the vehicle to promote the titles. there is not much reason to spend a lot of time and money to advertise gsl to consumers bc they will not be buying it at TRU, its free...awareness will happen on its own. the sdcc markiplier book was important bc it serves as an example of what gsl is going to look like and it had 23 paid ads....big marketing costs at this time are unnecessary imo. definitely tho after launch to some degree and to the right ppl.
