It is unlikely unless it was done on purpose. Who knows? Maybe he was trying hard to make it look like he didn't have a background in science or medicine; or maybe he thought confusing gram positive/negative was a good way to cast doubt on the science.
Perhaps we will find out when Sullivan takes his deposition.
An Emergency Medicine physician has a very broad understanding of medicine. It is extremely unlikely that such a physician would write an article with so many basic science errors. Gram positive/gram negative is pretty basic stuff for an ER doc. - biodoc
Yes Mako is definitely not a physician. He's not in finance either. He's a retail investor as far as I can tell, and quite obviously a doofus. His article was poorly written and argued. Being a crowd-source site, SA's publishing standards are rule-based, not quality-based.
