voloat

I know the first look in is a non event BUT IMO It starts the clock ticking. Scientists and people in the know can figure out when the SECOND and more important look in is going to happen. IMO the volume and PPS should start climbing on speculation alone after the first look in. Just saying

By the way did you take a month long vacation. Seems to me you stopped posting for a while

1st look in is/was a non event

If the first look in shows an N of 70% placebo passing while 30% on Bavi passing...is that a non event.

In order to assess safety the IDMC must know who is passing.

just safety related

I don't believe it and when everyone sees the data in retrospect will the Drs. have done no harm as best they can? Especially to the placebo patients.

Pretty definitive statements especially after futility was removed.

First look in is a huge milestone for this little company! That's a quote from a money manager at Sabby so it may not mean much to you but to many on the sidelines looking to get it it's a big deal.

First look in will show the trial has enrolled as Steve King has been stating "on track" . Another quote but from a money manager at Northtide.

These guys contacted me months ago on SA I never reached out to them by the way.

volgoat I agree with:

There is a reason for avid being ready and the mass hiring the last year and a reason and a reason MSK and AZ are on board, they know the data

In the worst case it was because we have so much 3rd party order/business that we could set-up Avid II know without any risk should Bavi fail because it will be full booked any ways. I like that as a worst case :)

Or, as you said they needed it ready way up-front because they expect to need it in one or the other Bavi production related plan. I see 3 possibilities so immediately:

1) Indeed SUNRISE early stop at look-in #2 anticipated (but never sure)
2) Some other path leading to commercial production of Bavi. A BTD or so?
3) A huge need for Bavi by all our clinical trials and collaborators.

#1,2 and part of #3 will bring revenue from that Bavi production. The other part of #3, Bavi production for our own clinical trials, reduces the cost compared to letting it manufacture by a 3rd party but doesn't generate cash.

Of course there is always #4, a conspiracy of the BoD that only opened Avid II to make us vote ... on the annual, reason why they didn't tell us Avid II is open yet :) I am sure some conspiracy lovers must run around with such strange ideas.

Still think they're lying? Class action if that's the case
