Yeah Brother, Thank You!
Disappointed in Stonybrook's damn near shunning viable Press Releases on Supima Cotton's adoption of us. So I wrote them a nasty letter:)
My main task today has been with natural disaster preparedness. In case of Hurricane Erika (projected), jumping in and out, from the yards and shrubs and garage and back again so I can be prepared.
Hot as hell here in central Florida, Brother. I'm doing manual labor. Got a bunch of large tree branches that may have been wind issues sawed down now. Pile of ____ that seems ready to go wind-borne. Now that I got those all trimmed down, looking at my Yaris to haul them off with. WTF? Maybe capable of a twig or two.
I got buddies with old, gas guzzling pickups, past ½-empty and they're more that willing to lend me the damn thing. By tradition, you borrow a buddy's pickup, do what you gotta do and drop it back with a full tank.
Thinking how to break-it-to-my-buddies, I don't think their damn rust bucket is worth a $55 and 27¢ fill up for running it down the road and back for 6 miles:). I will wash the bird crap off the windows.
On a personal note, going out to Camp Navajo, near Flagstaff, in a bit. Long way from Edwards, but I'll be thinking about you. Got Drew's Chevelle up to run across Nevada's Great Basin yet:)?
