Thank you for confirming what I said in my previous post.

Further, the fact that shipments of the 150k units will occur any day now says COTE will be selling their tech in commercial quantities a lot sooner than the 5-10 years you state.

You may not buy them but looks like a lot of other entities will.

Don't you just love these "my stick is bigger than yours" debates? All I know is; the PR today WAS NOT "GREAT", "WONDERFUL", "INCREDIBLE", "UNBELIEVEABLE"; it's BS. Please, point out one RELEVANT piece of information that doesn't involve ASSUMPTION. This is what GC is so good about; releasing generalized BS that requires NO type of corporate approval as long as the basis is true. What the Hell is Cummins going to sue about in "Coates received a Cummins 250KW generator". Please tell me where it says that Cummins has ANYTHING to do with this transaction other than "sending" it; just as it does with hundreds of clients it supplies. What makes the Cummins PR smell from April and today is; Cummins has not posted any kind of reciprocal PR to verify a relationship. IF, IF there were some kind of "relationship" between the two, Cummins would have reciprocated. Because they made no such move, it is a supplier relationship, PERIOD. GC is once again backing himself into a corner. If he doesn't announce a major shipment going out VERY, VERY soon, I believe he is looking at some serious problems. I hope to God that he does announce, and soon, as I sit here feeling extremely stupid for not trading out at .012 to .015 and buying the retracement back; STUPID. I got caught up with all the RAA, RAA on these boards thinking it was busting to $.03-$.05 when I knew darn well it would retrace just like any other breakout situation. But, I can only blame myself; I was stupid. Here's to GC's shipment announcement, HERE, HERE

FYI Animal, this concept has been more than in discussion since the fifties. The first rotary valve engine was made and patented in the early 1900's and has been around in various revisions since, including large industrial engine applications and motorcycles. Wattson, Kawasaki, and others had their goes with it up through the eighties and one German company currently produces a 125cc motorcycle engine with this rotary valve arrangement. The valves are air cooled, not liquid cooled like the CSRV. Sealing the combustion chamber and cooling the valve assemblies has always been the achilles heel for this arrangement, but it does work. Coates does seem to have refined the design to address these historical problems.
Even if the improvements aren't truly any better than other renditions, the multi-fuel management system is, and the CSRV should have a lower assembly cost by virtue of fewer parts, and possibly lower price point, to counter longevity issues. Really all I am getting at, is the tech side is good. This type of design has been produced and sold for one hundred years, and Coates should not need the years of reliability data you speak of in order to get to mass market.
