Well they may just feel this is moving faster than first thought. We could have a signed deal right now and are waiting for all parties to sign off and make it public. I suspect trading will be halted, then shareholders of record will be paid and then you can hold the shares in your account in case this is one day moved forward as an ETF fund or another entity buys out the shell. Once shareholders of record are paid out in a settlement there will be no buyers since hey will have missed the boat by then. I may buy up the shell when this is all over and find a deal for it.
