fuagf -- by then, other factors will have strongly constrained human reproduction, and total human population, whether any are or are not 'choosing' not to have children -- as, well before then, we will have ceased being in control of our circumstances on this planet in the way/to anywhere near the extent we are now (in this, speaking of the by-then very large and ever-cumulating impacts of climate change and mass extinction, as well as of the more imminent emergence, well before then, of them)
this time is/has been/will have been as good as it gets for us -- we're very fortunate to be and have been alive during this time -- so, enjoy it as and for what it is -- be aware and continue the good work of trying to spread understanding, however vanishingly slight the chance may be that we, collectively, can somehow get our act together and find a way through these things, yes, of course -- but allow whichever grimmer future that more and more closely approaching inevitably may await, at our own hand no less, allow that future to vitiate understanding and appreciating this time with this life as we have and live it now, no -- that would be an ungrateful and pointless indulgence, a waste
