Agree that authorized shares if not issued means nothing. However, It is a great reason to issue them or at least some of them for a stock for value deal. IMO

Yanik, Welcome Back and Congrats on your PIERS check! Enjoy your money, it is obvious at this point, if you bought your piers in the $2 range, you are making a nice return on your investment. In WMIH in which the other classes (and I am sure you own some of those too) were given the stock of WMIH in exchange for their shares and releases of the old stocks, the profit (if taken) has been great. I personally feel WMIH is a better investment (in the long run) than the PIERS were. I like the fact that I have shares sitting from a bankruptcy, that it looked like we were going to be wiped out from. Participating in the rise of this company will be fun, but they must first make an acquisition, so we can all be proud of our staying power in WMIH.

Read my posts on the CTG in relation to how WMIH will need to handle the Section 382 requirements for the NOL's.

Glad you are feeling better my friend.

I honestly believe the intent was not to influence market sentiment but was intended to "debunk" a theory postulated by members that these shares will be utilized to "purchase" returning assets of WMI/the debtors estate and thus benefit escrows immensely.
