Fair question. For almost 2 years HTFBSN has provided extensive research on Sphere 3D. The only compensation we receive is through member subscriptions. Our coverage has attracted a very wide audience, which includes funds, high net worth individuals and interested tech companies. Some of these entities have turned into subscribers.
Some of these subscribers combined with our existing network have opened some very big doors for the company and us. Again, we have not been compensated for these intros or business relationships that have been established.
Mikey and I simply love telling the Spiffy story.
One of the most disruptive technologies I have seen in almost 30 years. Glassware has the potential to forever change computing and become the platform for the IDC's upcoming "3rd Platform".
We like to think we have been telling their story to the right people without having them spend valuable time and money for investor relations.
We think our subscribers played a big role in the share price move from $1-$4. This enabled the buyout of V3 using shares as currency. Our continuing coverage and our network's accumulation then enabled the company to acquire Overland...thus completing Peter T's vision of a one stop shop for cloud computing.
HTFBSN's reach continued leading to even bigger fund interest.
We believe the company invited us to the bell ringing ceremonies as a way of merely saying "thank you".
