A take over by Albemarle would make a lot of sense. Also incorporating PEM tech they would theoretically increase LC purity to EV plus grade, and reduce the processing cycle time from 18-24 months to a matter of hours. There's a good video of the TBT extraction plant, which PEM have proposed as a production facility:



Admittedly I'm quite naïve to the mechanics but it looks quite cool!

I've previously considered the possibility that Rockwood/Albemarle would snaffle up PEM, just to eliminate potential competition, but I think the demand for lithium will be strong enough to sustain an extension of their operations into Clayton Valley.

NI 43-101 could be out any day now, and go some way to proving just how big that milk shake is!

Thanks for sharing the information about home energy storage. EV's are obviously grabbing the lithium sector headlines at the moment, but could prove to an equally compelling factor in the sector's rapid expansion over the next few years.
