I would not know Greece's politicians, but surely there has to be at least one who would tell it like it is OR don't Greek citizens want to hear that - surely getting away with not paying taxes beats paying them, right? I'll change my "lied to" to "intentionally mislead" - OK ? and if that doesn't fit perhaps he was just over his head from the beginning; too naive to recognize Greece was/is in serious trouble.
