Think you meant to say the guys with the suits, although many of them probably have suites too.

I should also point out that money does not lie, but it may lay. Although it is true that, in the right context, 'big money lies' can refer to untruths spoken by rich people. :)

It gets a little more complicated to choose between "big money lay" and "big money lays". By a strict interpretation of the rules of English, money is singular so the singular lays (he lays, she lays, they lay) should be used. However, in accepted English usage, the full phrase the big money lay with the guys with the suits would be preferred because lays has a more active usage - as in the Biblical sense.

Athough the bedding-down usage may work also...
