You can just forget about this. Really.
Not only are you agreeing to license terms when you purchase and use software, but you can't go and emulate another company's system without permission. The patent issues alone would kill it.
Most games now also have a significant online component which wouldn't function on a different platform. XBox Live etc
Seriously, forget it. Not happening.
Like I said previously, focus on the real stuff going on. E.g. say you are excited about SnapCloud because it now allows them to have a hybrid cloud storage solution. Helps them stay relevant. I'm sure they'll get some traction. I wouldn't fault this view at all. What I take issue with is rubbish.
