That's not what he meant. He meant that many of their patients have already been treated, and with a competing OM trial it will be that much slower to enroll. I'm sure he is as frustrated and tired of slow enrollment as any of us.
They absolutely do know if their patients have been treated previously. The point was simply the patient pool to draw from was decreased by the exclusion of so many being referals who have been treated previously combined with the other trial competing for Pts. MD A obviously wanted to run the trial, one it makes them money and two they like to have the newest treatments. It jibes with my knowledge of MD A. Its not the front line center but where local hospitals send Pts when they are out of their wheelhouse.
