emulation seems pretty cumbersome to me. GW is much more efficient as it can virtualize practically any app, containerize it and make it accessible on ANY other device/OS IIRC. But as you said, it could become an infringement in a competitor's IP and licensing rights if anybody can play their titles on another game box or play station. That's why I asked.

"I find it incredibly interesting Microsoft accomplished it through emulation. "

Why? How else are they supposed to do it other than with an emulator?

If you're not going to emulate the 360 hardware, you need to provide the hardware.

This is basic stuff folks. Microsoft didn't release the backward compatibility on day one for strategic reasons, not technical ones. The XBox One is many times more powerful than the 360 so the overhead of the emulator won't matter at all as the 360 games will require far less resources.

Fun to dream but I suggest focusing on the few bits of tangible Glassware success.

If GW were involved in any of this stuff it would have been licensed a long time ago and we would have seen the revenue, material change reports etc.

IMHO

PS if true that EK and Larry are pals that is a mixed blessing. On the one hand he can open doors, on the other it may just be he was doing a favor for his pal by showing his mug around more than he otherwise would.

In any case the proof will be in the Q2 to Q4 financials.

Assuming ANY is able to raise enough capital to make it to Q4 or Cyrus doesn't pull the plug.

IMHO and enjoy your day. My 5 minutes is up.
