the Petach Tikva, Israel, manufacturer of printed-circuit boards, reported that first-quarter net income more than tripled on 26% higher revenue. Net income reached 2.9 million shekels, or 0.41 shekel a share, from 839,000 shekels, or 0.13, in the year-earlier period. In dollar terms, the figures are $613,000, or 9 cents a share, against $179,000, or 3 cents, in first-quarter 2005. Revenue reached 43.4 million shekels ($9.3 million) from 34.4 million. Both new clients and repeat business from existing customers contributed to the revenue rise, Eltek said. On Monday, Eltek's shares fell a dime, or 2.3%, to $4.20.
