I understand what you and SOXY are saying...for me it's like Viet Nam all over again, proving once again it's easier to start a war than to end it. Eventually someone may have the guts to say we're not sending any more of our military people into a civil war, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Instead, I see this madness passed on to the next president.
At the very least, I'd like Pres Obama to stop pretending to the Am people that we're "making progress", and we just "have to be patient".
