JNJ/ACHN: that sounds like the whole enchilada as far as ACHN's HCV pipeline is concerned.

Recall that JNJ also has a symposium for investors tomorrow morning re its pharmaceutical pipeline. GILD's was today, UBS.

- So, nobody buys ACHN soon
- ACHN market cap is $1.27B and ENTA's $750M
- ENTA has a flow of royalties coming and ACHN has none for almost 3 years

PS
Jay has to learn negotiation skills.

ACHN -- As a long time investor in ACHN, I'm not thrilled with the J&J deal. But it does not preclude a J&J buyout in the future.

It looks like ACHN will open in the 12-13 range when trading halt is lifted.

Besides ACHN now has a ton of cash and can pursue the Factor D inibitor program for orphan diseases on their own.

JNJ acquired these shares as part of the now-defunct HCV collaboration announced in 2015 (#msg-113830307) at a price of $12.25, almost 4x the current (AH) price.
