No one dismisses a case then orders the parties to return to court!
The most recent filing included a request for additional time to conduct an "investigation." Then, at the bottom of the page the DA (whom I think fills out and files these forms) hand wrote "rest or probable plea." That tells me the the parties expect to rest their cases and the DA expects Eddie will cop a plea rather than gamble that the judge will side with him and against the DA.
