yes I too recall CHINA being in every story when the suit started
and indeed if CHINA (a private company in CHINA) was ready to make a bid - and the GOV felt it did not want CHINA to get involved - then AIG had an option removed by GOV and the GOV then has a higher duty to compensate etc
Yet - I have not seen China mentioned in the last six months
Something tells me - my gut - that the China proposal was more smoke by the plaintiff then fire by a buyer
