So tell me what you believe is the reason that they don't use some sort of public forum and instead choose to seed rumors to individuals KNOWING that the rumor will be exaggerated and pumped on message boards?

It ONLY causes the investors to lose money and causes the company to receive endless emails questioning the rumors and blaming the company when the exaggerations do not come to pass.

The motive behind the company doing this is what the issue is. Not the general public exaggerating.

The GP is expected to exaggerate.

That is the ONLY motive I can think of that fits.
