Stocks can have an extra letter attached to their symbol when there is something going on with the company. Scov has a list of what each extra letter means. There are quite a few.
The E attached to WEGI was due to the late filing. When an extra letter is attached, the stock actually trades under the new symbol that it creates, so info on WEGI, was located by looking up the symbol WEGIE and was no longer available under the symbol WEGI.
It was never actually at "zero". The pps at zero under the symbol WEGI actually told you that no information was available for the particular symbol.
If you should ever see that again on any stock, just go to Knobias and pull up the news. It should answer your questions immediately.
Extra letters come on and extra letters come off when the problem is resolved.
