I see Epoxy has dropped back down to more reasonable levels. They have an interesting plan, but it's going to take a lot of time IMO, because it is volume based -- low income per business. Maybe someone can set me straight on this but the problem I have had with their model is that it takes saturation of a local area to bring in users of the app for that area. I see little incentive for a Kwik trip or any other franchise to sign up for all of their locations if 399 out of the 400 locations are in areas that don't have any other businesses signed up. What user in New Orleans for example is going to use an app that has say 5 Kwik trip locations in New Orleans and no other kinds of businesses? No one IMO. So, it only will work one city at a time.
The revenues are miniscule compared to the market cap so this has a lot of risk associated with it. I haven't really dug into the latest but the idea of launching in other countries strikes me as odd at best and a manipulative tactic to excite investors at worst. Will continue to keep an eye on this. Best to all.
