Re: They may get preferential pricing based on all PO's per quarter or some other such agreement. Each warehouse issues it's own PO so they probably get a pooling arrangement. Only OEM's order those size lots on PO's.
Fine, but the point is that Intel is not likely discounting any more now than they have at any time in the past. These are standard discounts, not "panic-mode", as Joe calls it.
