Tina-- stocks on nationally traded exchanges (i.e., not the otc) often have wacky after hours bids and asks. the $1.38 on genr is meaningless, as the bid is still at .82, below the closing price. if the bid had moved up higher than the closing price, then you'd have reason to be excited....
Tina, sometimes after the bell, the Bid and the Ask are pushed way out of range on many stocks...even the blue chips...I have seen a stock with a bid of 32.00 and the ask at 7,000.00 after hours......I hope in your case, if you do own GENR, it is for real, but I do not have any knowledge on GENR...glty
