I wish we could get a little more moisture. Mainly for mushrooms. I'm going to see if they are up in the woods, tomorrow morning. My garden is coming along well. I probably shouldn't have, but went ahead and put two of my tomato plants out yesterday. I'm sure it will cool off again, but since they were blooming, I figured what the heck? I've only got about 80 more plants in the garage, if these die.
I would love to have a couple tons of your mushroom compost. I work my butt off to amend the soil, but can't come close to matching that. That's also why I plant so many tomatoes. I do have a passion for fresh tomatoes, but with a lot of plants, my cruddy soil won't hold me back.
I've managed to trade some jarred tomatoes for green beans, frozen sweet corn, and a bottle of pear wine, lol!
