Why did the Bush regime create a crisis over Iran?
The answer is that the Bush regime is desperate to widen the war in the Middle East.
What has Iran done? Unlike Israel, Pakistan and India, countries that developed nuclear weapons on the sly, Iran signed the non-proliferation treaty. Countries that sign this treaty have the right to develop nuclear energy. However distasteful that stunt is, it is doubtful that Christians will riot in the street and kill innocent people including children as happened recently with the now infamous cartoons. Though one crazed US preacher did issue a $25g "fatwa" against Dan Brown... His parishoners have since denounced the "fatwa" as an immoral embarrassment. :)
