Those who have no shares are not worried. Those who do should worry.

When will the Ruby mine reopen?

This is all BS. They have no resources to develop the "Fraser River project" into a commercial mining operation. To even call it a legitimate mining prospect is ridiculous. They haven't even met the conditions to proceed with initial test pits.

Why not look at the actual facts, they applied for a very small scale limited permit to dig initial test pits and ran into huge opposition that they have not been able to overcome. Just to dig test pits!

You think the government's going to pay for an in situ resource that cannot feasibly be developed? The government is simply going to say that if there's a resource there and there's a mining company that can recover it without impacting the environmental or archaeological resources then go for it. Of course it would all have to be done through due process.

Think about it like this. If a company came up with a plan to divert the entire Fraser River around the mining claims, recovered all of the resources and then restored everything back to its natural state after the mining was completed along with all of the studies, engineering, fees, permits, approvals, insurances, assurances, bonds etc. etc. that were required then the government could do nothing to prevent that from happening. However any fool would know that that plan would be cost prohibitive therefore not feasible.

The government has no liability whatsoever in regards to a resource that cannot feasibly be recovered.

What you're implying is that a company with zero resources can develop an infeasible mining plan for a supposed resource to which they have maintained claims and that if they run into any opposition the government will pay them the value of the in situ resource. The government doesn't have to do anything to oppose the project, all hey thave to do is make the company meet all of the requirements. Just because a company creates its own hardship doesn't mean they are due anything from anyone. It simply means they are stupid. Example: maintaining claims that cannot be feasibly mined.

Am I the only one that sees how ludicrous this is?
