The PREM at 2:00 spiked down, barely missing sell levels. Spiked down again at 2:21, but then spiked up at 2:23 to the highest in about 2 hours but well short of buy levels. Good enough for about 15 points on the Dow. The PREM did hit sell levels at 2:46 and 2:47. That got us back down the 15 points on the Dow. At 2:58 barely missed again, but was good for about another 10 down on the Dow. Dow gave up 9200. TICK slowly rolling over.

OT: TG, that was surely the case when gold was $30/oz, but since domestic regulations outlawing gold sales were eliminated and the price zoomed into the 100s of $$, panning in local rivers and streams has become a very popular hobby in GA. True, there are still no commercial efforts, but that doesn't preclude the little guys making a buck, or two in the wilds. When our state house dome was re-gold-leafed back in the '80s, it was all done with Dahlonega gold...no small amount, either, I should say.
