Simple, I would doubt they blow money on a superbowl snafu again.. I'd be more interested to see them do more primetime adds during the week or weekends.. pointless to spend millions on one ad showing when they can spend the same to have the same ad show many times during the week...
Either way I think they have to set up infrastructure before this happens...
This all is going towards my point that anyone claiming huge sub numbers is a few years off at best.
The main disadvantage GZFX has compared to netflix is funding.. really at this point that is what it all boils down to.. netflix was very well funded where as GZFX has pretty much hatched a business first then tried to fund it later...

simplegreen, I have a different take of the SB ads cost to the company. They contracted for it and apparently had put some cash deposit up for the spot. They then realized that it was much more than they could chew at the time and sold the time slot to someone else. I would doubt they lost much in the way of cash because of it. Heaven knows we didn't spend much on that commercial to satisfy the the "Be a Star" angle.

Posters talking about having 12 million bucks before the Super Bowl fiasco implying it was spent on that cancelled endeavor are all wet.

From and old company statement:

"Earlier this year, we reserved a 30 second commercial spot that was to run during the Super Bowl on the Fox Television Network. After close consideration, we have released the reserved Super Bowl slot and instead are in the process of securing time with three local Fox affiliates in Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Washington. The planned ad will be aired during the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl. Although this commercial will not be aired on the national network, the company will still be promoting the GameZnFlix brand to a large viewing audience but in a more cost effective and manageable manner."
