There's a malignant strain infecting the group... I don't care who inhabited the land first. I would not visit an Arab country much less live there, and I cannot imagine why any Jew or Christian would... Safety needs are primary...
Jews and Christians are second class citizens where Sharia is law, but what is the economic status of Jews and Christians in the Arab world... I have know several who immigrated here from Lebanon and Eqypt -- Coptics and Jews... All were educated professionals. Is this the norm in the Arab world -- or does it only reflect the status of those who are able to immigrate out? I went to school with a child of recent Syrian Christian immigrants. The parents were so afraid of their own shadows that it adversely effected the kids, unfortunately -- nice people but never able to leave their fear behind them... Sad. Moslem persecution of Christians in Africa is a contemporary holocaust.
