Wouldn't INTC plummet offset AMD? Maybe the tool makers that service AMD. LRCX comes to mind. MRVL strong earnings, brcm up on coattails ah. Last Q, gapped up and then fell for three months, lol.

INTC is 110 Billion market cap showing down 4%
AMD is 15 Billion market cap showing up 8%

Net/net, they should combine to put downside pressure equivalent (roughly) to -3% (each).
