I'm talking ten years that I left the business due to low wages for the risk never mind what the family has to pay when your gone for the best part of the year " summer " The thing is technology changed things as far as flying outside the mountains due to navigation skills where not as required with GPS technology but not going down that road I truly can't remember his name but I know he had a daughter that was groomed to take over that for the most part does not like the lime light.
Again she did get married so who knows I'm sure her father would be pushing up daisies by now.
As it is said the apple falls close to the tree and he was grooming her much in the way he did things that is not to say she doesn't have a bigger heart then he did towards his hired help.
Look I don't like to bash him, his daughter nor the industry as broken as it is. There was a time young guys where itching to fly machines like the helicopter not so much anymore they are expensive to learn to fly as well the money, work is just not there anymore with roads being accessible about every where you go never mind as I mentioned drones, ATV'S, and now new technology that are making the helicopter of tomorrow more stable that really anyone in a hour's training could fly one.
