re: GTCB

As I prophesized a few months ago, de-listing is a genuine concern for GTCB holders.

GTCB--interesting observation

GTCB: Anyone notice that GTCB is now, officially, a "penny stock?"

I think the more interesting and perhaps worrisome trait of the GTCB chart is the 2+ month floor at $1.

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=GTCB&t=3m

This suggests to me that someone with a huge appetite for GTCB shares has been buying everything available for $1 since March 8.
This is presumably bullish for the long term. But, I worry what will happen short term when that buyer(s) stops accumulating. We may see a sudden drop reflecting the prolonged support at $1.

Accordingly, I have lightened my GTCB holding by 20%, in hope of rebuying at a lower price.

>Pharming still hasn't offered to buy the company? Hmmm...<

I think Pharming would likely have offered to buy GTC for about $2/sh if the EMEA appeal had failed. Whether GTC would have accepted the offer is hard to say.

Now, it’s a different story. GTC has absolutely no need to entertain an offer from anybody unless it’s an offer that’s simply too good to refuse. More than likely, they will remain independent. Regards, Dew
