How do you know ABBV hasn’t floated a (non-hostile) buyout offer?

A) Abbvie probably had every opportunity prior to the IPO to take control.

B) Abbvie made four offers for Shire, so it doesn't look like Abbvie will take no for an answer.

C) Abbvie would have no problem becoming hostile.
