Lango - not sensitive, just two separate arguments
Let me attempt to clarify:
When I said I won't agree/disagree, it was because that was not the argument I wanted to discuss. It's tough to try to cover two arguments in one thread.
The point I was trying to make all along was that, at $50 or more to upgrade to a SuperDrive, I would prefer to opt out. I gave my reasons, dilleet feels the same. Maybe we are the only two on the planet. But that is still how I feel.
My preference to opt out of a SuperDrive is an entirely different discussion than whether Apple should or should not include one at a specific price or in a specific model in the line up. I don't have a fully formed opinion on that, I have not compared the competition pricing in detail enough to declare 'rip-off' - maybe it is, I don't know. So I'm just not ready to argue that one yet.
