anything can happen. however, a dollar surge of that kind would have consequences perhaps more negative than a fall in the near term.
right now everyone is playing double dare... and somewhere in the middle they think perhaps they can pressure china into saving their butts for a bit longer.
so.. far.. i don't think china is going to play. nor do they have to.
