I'm limping along with three small reds:

BIOC: Was hoping for another leg based on the small float and tremendous rising volume yesterday (not to mention the pumping activity*) to vault over my 4.03 small lottery position but it looks like the three day rule rules.

* One pumper on Yahoo was predicting the Nobel Prize, lol.


ANFI: Waiting for an Earnings pop. Intraday trading in the meantime.


RIGL: Is just wriggling around for now.

ANFI A case for buying this afternoon into Earnings P-M Monday (confirmed now after changing twice).

Presently already up significantly today but I'm hoping for more and am carrying a full position.

ANFI was slammed by what I suspect may prove to be a mostly scurrilous attack by a short group (first alerted here but not endorsed, by ico).

If ANFI reports well (and vigorously defends itself in the 8:30AM CC), there'll be plenty of shorts scurrying to cover- they already are now.

I think if the company does push the numbers around, the least of what is being alleged, they'd like to do it this quarter to give the hit men black eyes, lol.

I know the business ANFI is in and did not see any smoking gun in the hit piece. I'm certainly not assuring the company is clean- I don't know, I can't see its books. That said, the hit men sounded to me like they didn't understand the business.

The company has been vetted by well heeled 'tutes.

Reportedly (Zacks) estimates were raised for this quarter (statistically a positive sign) but I don't know where to verify this.

Been in since 8.65 up to 9.93. I still like it for a lotto play here at about 10.


Some cautionary notes:

Earnings are notoriously unpredictable and thus, dangerous. Even the recognized good Earnings caller ham tends to shy away from playing them.

What if the more than one parties calling out ANFI for misdeeds are correct?

ANFI is a low volume, low PPS stock and thus subject to manipulation.

The quarter reporting on Monday was a miss last year.


Notwithstanding the afore cautionary notes, I'm all in on this lotto play.
