Love it here...retired early at 46 and was tired of the 6 month freeze in Mtl. Here is perfect weather, greater sense of freedom, better food, greater sense of community and family. They live for people, we lived for things. Different culture altogether.
Things are here what they were in Can 40 years ago, except with the benefit of technology now in their hands. Added benefit is the cost of living. Prices so low, you have to bend down to see them, and while you are there you might sometimes even catch a glimpse of stress, as it resides there as well. Suffice to say, had we been wiser, we would have done it sooner.
