Because it was there for many months prior to the bug being found. We do know that IBM halted shipment of its Itanium systems because of the bug. http://www.nwfusion.com/news/2003/0512itaniumbug.html
The bottom line is that 64-bit AMD systems are available just about everywhere, while 64-bit systems from Intel, aren't.

Why do you think it disappeared from pricewatch?
