It left a lifetime memory.
It's kind of funny. My Dad was in the Army, and I've had several uncles in the Air Force. When we visit, they like to sit and tell war stories. I enjoy them a great deal and my wife makes a big deal out of it. Rightfully so, they are great stories, told by great men.
We were leaving a visit once, and the wife kept going on and on about them. I finally turned towards her and simply said, do you realize that I served longer, and out ranked all of them? lol
I guess I'm not old enough for my war stories to count yet? :-)
