What NYSE firm traded at 1-cent on the day it filed BK? I've seen some that sold for a DOLLAR a year after BK even when all survival hope was gone.
Mister Market knows there's perhaps a 99 percent chance of BK so that's already priced in. But wild unpredictable swings are always to be expected in the battle between longs and shorts wanting/needing to cover.
