Dear, tenac: Good Morning! I enjoyed reading your testimony very much, although I wondered if you weren't somehow or other writing more about my life, and the way that it used to be before I became born-again/got saved, as they say it! For so much of your old life sounds so much like my old life, the sad & miserable & unhappy one that I had before I had my encounter with JESUS & the HOLY SPIRIT. For, like you, that's when my life started changing for the better, also, ie: April 19th, 1968 at a James Robbisson Crusade here at the PHOENIX COLISEUM, about 8:30pm that blessed night so long ago. THANK GOD THAT I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO YIELD TO THE WOOING of the HOLY SPIRIT speaking to my heart, urging me ''TO GO DOWN THERE & FIND OUT WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT.'' For my date that night & I were siting high up in some of the back rows of seats. When all of the sudden, while JAMES was giving the invitation for people to come down there & give themselves to the LORD JESUS, all of the sudden, after a few moments of struggle spiritually, I opened my eyes & said to my date, Sarah Jean, the following: ''I don't know what it is, but I gotta go down there & find out. I'll see you later.'' As I proceed to leave the aisle & go down there, which was quite a long ways from near the back of the highest seats, I vividly remember feeling & still can, remember it even after all of thes years, ''that I literally ''happily & joyfully floated'' all the way down there til I was standing down there, waiting to find out what was going to happen next, when 2 nice CHRISTIAN men came up to me & asked what I wanted or needed. And so I told them, ''Well, I suppose that I came down here to find out about ''how to become a CHRISTIAN''! And so we prayed the sinner's prayer together, and they gave me some literature, then invited me to their small Southern Baptist Church. And so, that's how it all began for me so long ago! I was 24 & 1/2 & a university senior at the time. I am now 70 years of age, and have been a born-again CHRISTIAN for 46 &1/2 years now, since that wonderful night! Gospel of St. John Chapter 3, as also Gospel of St. John, chapter 1, verses 6 thru 14, but especially verses 10 thru 13. In conjunction with those verses, I also always include Ephesians chapters 2 & 3, but most especially, the first 10 verses of chapter 2. So, just as JESUS said in John chapter 3, verse 3: ''Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man {or a woman}
be BORN-AGAIN, {neither} he {nor she} can ''SEE'' the Kingdom of GOD!''
''And they over came him (Satan) by the precious shed blood of the Lamb, AND BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY!'', Revelations chapter 12: 10 & 11.
